ProfessionalExec Recruiters has launched a new program designed to assist those seeking Career Advice and Assistance, with a focus on Job Placement. 

Over the past year, demand for this service has increased in our office, so we put the following program together to better serve our clients.

Typical Hiring Process

Companies today follow a fairly predictable process in assessing prospective employees for employment which includes:

  • Candidate Introduction

  • Resume Review

  • Telephone Screen

  • On Premise or Face to Face Interview(s)

  • Offer Tendered

  • Offer Accepted (or declined)

  • Probation Period (whether stated, implied or not addressed formally, this period exists for all new hires joining organizations today and the duration varies with each organization)

We’ve put together a program divided into two Cycles, designed to assist candidates (and organizations alike) work through the various stages with the understanding that methods used in the past DO NOT work effectively today, and, many “flaws” exist in the process today which can and must be mitigated to ensure the best possible outcome with each opportunity, through each stage.

 Cycle One:

Three Consultation Sessions, 60 minute aggregate anticipated (flexibility necessary here, some take longer, some are shorter. We honor both within reason.)

Session I: The Typical Hiring Process as listed above begins with “Introduction”, followed by “Resume Review”.  However, from the candidate perspective, the Resume must be constructed and finalized before any “Introductions” are considered. 

The Resume forms the foundation for information shared throughout all the steps in the Hiring Process (think “building block” not “end result”), so early attention to your Resume construct (using proven methodologies) is mandatory for the process to flow smoothly, ultimately leading to your resume achieving its “ONLY” goal (many are surprised to hear a resume’s goal is NOT to get you a job.  No company worth working for hires solely on the merits of a resume.  Do you know a resumes only “real” goal and how to construct yours to achieve it?).

Session I is therefore designed to learn more about you.  We'll establish a framework for both the written representation of your skills (Resume), and as the genesis for your Elevator Pitch, to be used later in the process (verbal presentation of your experience and skills). During this session, we'll agree on a strategy (what should and should not be included in your experience and skills presentations).  We’ll talk philosophy (what should your written and verbal presentations actually achieve both short and long term), and we'll ask specific questions regarding past and present career achievements as they pertain to your career goals moving forward.  We’ll take the information provided along with a current version of your resume, and we’ll complete a re-write designed to reflect your skills using the principles of:

·         Executive Privilege

·         Rapid Data Assimilation

·         Marketability

Session II: We'll review the first draft completion of your resume for accuracy, proposed goal achievement, style and format. Revisions if necessary will be agreed on and made. 

Session III:  We’ll furnish the final resume in MSWORD via email, and we’ll review via telephone the final version of your new resume with you.

The “flaws” inherent in an organizations “Resume Review Process” are readily conceded by those “in the business” (Human Resource Departments and Recruiters alike).  Recognizing those flaws and reconstructing your resume to consider and even exploit those flaws is imperative success. 

On completion of Session III (Cycle One), you may feel you have a better understanding of the process, its “flaws”, and maximizing the process to your advantage, and you may choose to proceed on your own.  ProfessionalExec Recruiters will remain a resource for you throughout your career available to you in any capacity you deem necessary, and at any time you feel appropriate.

If you choose to continue working with ProfessionalExec Recruiters, and we agree we feel we can help you enter into new opportunity with a new employer (based on area’s you’ve worked, your goals moving forward and our firm belief we can help (at our sole discretion), we will begin Cycle Two, jointly formulating a strategy for procession as follows:

Cycle Two:

Step I:  Collaboratively identify Industries and Organizations “in your space” based on your career history and goals moving forward.

Step II:  Create a Marketing Presentation ProfessionalExec Recruiters will use in both phone discussions and email campaigns (our “pitch” when we contact prospects).

Step III.  Aggressively market your skills with existing clients synergistic your background, and prospective employers through phone contact, email campaign and Social Networking Platforms (you’re identity remains CONFIDENTIAL at this stage).

Step IV.  If successful creating interest with prospective employers we’ve mutually agreed align with your career history and goals moving forward, a list of interested organizations will be shared with you along with Intelligence about the organizations, the position(s), and any other information we’ve garnered necessary for you to decide if you want to formally proceed. 

If you choose to move forward, a formal “Introduction” will be made by ProfessionalExec Recruiters via phone or in person (our discretion) to the organization(s) you express interest in.   

Step V:  For organizations interested in proceeding, we will schedule all contact moving through the interview process.  We will provide consult to you in preparation for the “Telephone Screen” and “On-site” interviews(s) sharing methods for effective communication specifically geared to interviewing technique.

Additionally, we will consult with the prospective employer to ensure the proper evaluation regarding your contribution to their organization is fully realized, and an open and bi-directional line of communication and feedback exists throughout this phase in the process.

Step VI: When the “Offer” is being generated, we will work to bi-directionally negotiate (between you and interested employer) to help ensure a mutually acceptable agreement is “tentatively” reached before the actual offer is “formally” penned and tendered to you (no surprises).

Step VII: If you ultimately accept the offer and enter into employment with your new employer, ProfessionalExec Recruiters will maintain contact with both you and your new employer on a consultancy basis to discuss issues, share advice, and or to just “bounce ideas” if requested.
